I have had a passion for selling household items from a very young age. It all started when I was at the age of 8. I would knock on people’s doors in my street and ask them if they had any household items they were not using. I gathered quite a number of items during these outings, and on weekends I would sell these items from my parents’ stoep where passers-by would purchase goods from me. As the years went by, I would assist people in selling their household items on weekends.

I thoroughly enjoyed selling these items and meeting new people. Although I had a full-time job, I felt restless in my spirit. I knew that I had to change direction and follow my passion for selling pre-loved goods full time.

Soon, I decided to Sell It All, sold up everything I owned, and relocated. Myself and my 2 miniature dachshunds took to the road and headed all the way to Cape Town. Not knowing anybody and having no contacts was not an issue for very long. I decided to continue with the buying and selling of household items. I met with potential sellers who asked me to sell their items, and I would easily help them. The initiative grew quite quickly, and eventually, myself and my wife, Sanel, decided to start a website where we assist people in selling their household items. This was the start of our company: Sell It All. We assist clients who are emigrating, downsizing, handling deceased estates, decluttering, and much more.
